Congressional Districts:

1st congressional district: No recommendation

  • RNR is disappointed with incumbent Rob Wittman’s poor voting record, but there is no alternative candidate running.

2nd congressional district: Jarome Bell

  • RNR has endorsed Jarome Bell, an exemplary patriot who has taken bold stances in favor of immigration moratoriums and a restrained foreign policy that puts America First.

3rd congressional district: Terry Namkung

  • RNR recommends Terry Namkung as the strongest fundraising Republican in this safe Democrat district.

4th congressional district: No recommendation

  • There is no viable candidate in this safe Democrat district.

5th congressional district: No primary

  • Although RNR supports exemplary incumbent Republican Bob Good, there is no primary in this district as he has already been nominated by convention.

6th congressional district: Merritt Hale

  • RNR recommends Merritt Hale as a protest vote against incumbent Ben Cline, due to Hale’s generally populist platform and anti-establishment rhetoric. This vote will help push Cline to the right in the next Congress.

7th congressional district: Yesli Vega

  • RNR recommends Yesli Vega, on the grounds that Vega would be tougher on immigration than libertarian frontrunner Bryce Reeves. Vega is a vocal opponent of amnesty and sanctuary cities, and has been endorsed by several prominent supporters of RNR, including Rep. Louie Gohmert, former Rep. Dave Brat and Corey Stewart.

8th congressional district: No primary

  • There is no primary in this district as Karina Lipsman has already been nominated as the Republican candidate at a district convention.

9th congressional district: No primary

  • Although RNR supports incumbent Republican Morgan Griffith, the primary was cancelled due to him being the only candidate running.

10th congressional district: No primary

  • The primary in this district has already taken place, and Hung Cao was chosen as the Republican nominee. Cao seems to be a well-suited candidate for the district.

11th congressional district: No primary

  • The primary in this district has already taken place and James Myles was chosen as the Republican nominee. As this is a safe Democrat district, there is little chance of a Republican victory here.
